Prof. Adeyinka A ODUNSI is a recipient of the Fellowship of the Nigerian Institute of Animal Science (FNIAS), Postgraduate College of Animal Science, Nigeria (FCASN), Registered Animal Scientist (RAS) and Professor of Animal Nutrition at the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, Nigeria. He has his Ph. D degree from the premier University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Nigeria. He has been involved in the teaching of various courses in the field of animal production, products, management, nutrition and biotechnology at undergraduate and postgraduate levels since 1989. His research interests include investigations on tropical and under-utilised alternative feed resources, eggs and hatchery science, quality standards in monogastric animal nutrition and products, enzyme and phytogenic feed additives, and climate-nutrition studies. He has also made modest contributions to Japanese quail development in Nigeria. He is a mentor and supervisor to junior academics, undergraduate and graduate students at various stages of their programmes. Prof Odunsi is a journal reviewer and external examiner to various professional agencies, universities and other higher educational bodies in Nigeria and overseas. He has published extensively in the field of Animal Science and collaborates very well with other researchers. Administratively, Prof Odunsi has served as Head of Department of Animal Production & Health, Director of Academic Planning and Dean of Faculty of Agricultural Science, LAUTECH Ogbomoso among others. Currently, he is the Editor in Chief of Nigerian Journal of Animal Science (NJAS - Published by Animal Science Association of Nigeria) and International Journal of Applied Agriculture and Apicultural Research (IJAAAR, anchored by Faculty of Agricultural Science, LAUTECH, Ogbomoso, Nigeria.
